☀️SPUNCH CHORLTON RUNNERS, BOWLING GREEN
Start window: 430pm to 730pm. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied juniors who go for FREE with a paying adult > 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Wednesday evening Town & Country Spunch with Chorlton Runners from the Bowling Green, Brookburn Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 9ES.
60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Bowling Green. Daylight evening Summertime Spunch for runners & walkers. Family friendly & dog friendly too.
Our first visit to the Bowling Green, Chorlton for this mixed-terrain Spunch. The pub event centre is ideally placed to explore the adjacent green spaces of Chorlton Ees, both Sale & Chorlton Water Parks, the Mersey trails and with some cheeky fast moving urban snicketry too to complete the picture. Not a hilly one this, and with good underfoot conditions* you can expect to be moving fast from start to finish. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
With an extended 430pm to 730pm start window, treats for the kids and route options suitable for kids of all ages, this will be a good one to get the whole family out n about at during the school summer holidays!
The pub venue is just 10 mins from M60 J5/6/7 convenient for anywhere with easy access to the M60 Manchester Outer Ring and the M56. Especially handy for Sale, Timperley, Altrincham, Carrington, Irlam, Urmston, Eccles, Salford, Trafford, Stretford, City Centre, Chorlton, Didsbury, Stockport, Cheadle, Gatley, Wythenshwe etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Newcomers and locals especially welcome. Great for families and friends to do together. Go solo, pair or team. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 430pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 430pm.
Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
The Bowling Green will provide a warm welcome with excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk. The pub is child and dog friendly. And it has a good outdoor eating / drinking area too if the weather is kind.

Parking will be free and nearby all within 5 mins walk from the pub.
Come by Uber or Catch the Spunch Tram. The Bowling Green is just a 20 minute Uber ride from Manchester City Centre. Alternatively Chorlton Tram Stop is just 1.5k flat walk from the Bowling Green making it very handy to get to from the city centre.
