WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Rolling start - Start time to suit you, anytime between 430pm and 730pm. (Please note earlier than usual family-friendly start time option). Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Wednesday evening Congleton Edge Town & Country Spunch from the Queens Head, Park Lane, Congleton CW12 3DE.
The usual 60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself). Also the option of a family-friendly Easter Holiday Special Short Course suitable for family groups with kids of all ages. (This short course can be completed with kids before having a go at the longer courses for those who want to do both).
Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Queens Head. Springtime daylight evening Spunch for runners & walkers. Very family friendly & dog friendly too.
We are back in Congleton, but this time heading out and up onto Congleton Edge in (mostly) daylight!
Less than 20 mins from M6 J16,17, 18. About 30 mins from M56 J6 & M60 J3. Congleton is particularly convenient for the Potteries, Kidsgrove, Alsager, Crewe, Sandbach, Holmes Chapel, Alderley Edge, Macclesfield, Leek and Biddulph etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Newcomers and locals especially welcome. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 430pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 430pm.
Beat the dark! Catch the Sunset! Sunset will be around 815pm and it will be dark from 845pm. Earlier starters will have the advantage of full daylight throughout! Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch if you expect to be still out after 815pm!
Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore some of Congleton (Hightown's) quiet streets before heading out into the beautiful surrounding countryside. With both hilly and less hilly options there is lots to explore. As well as navigating your way through the nearby streets, you might also enjoy sections of the Macclesfield Canal, the Biddulph Valley Way, and the Gritstone Trail as well as the rich network of paths on Congleton Edge itself. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Queens Head will provide a warm welcome with excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk. Food options include the Totally Tenner Wednesday - Fish & Chips with a drink for £10!! The pub is child and dog friendly. A nice west facing outdoor beer garden area if the weather is kind - real fire inside if not!

Car parking in the train station car park immediately adjacent (for £3) or for FREE on road / street side all within 5 mins walk from the pub.
Catch the Spunch Train. Congleton train station is immediately adjacent to the pub. It is very well served by trains from Manchester, Stockport, Macclesfield and Stoke, and everything in between.
