THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED.  THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE VIA THE ORANGE BUTTON ABOVE. WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY!   ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Rolling start - Start time to suit you, anytime between 430pm and 730pm.  (Please note earlier than usual family-friendly start time option). Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more.  Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.   Adult 18+ Solo Junior 16+ £5 early bird until Mon 24 Mar £7 standard until Mon 7 Apr £9 late after Mon 7 Apr & on the day Accompanied Junior age 0-17 FREE but must go with a paying parent or guardian over 21

Thursday evening "Easter Special" Town & Country Spunch from the Vale Inn, 29-31 Adlington Rd, Bollington SK10 5JT.

The usual 60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself).   Also the option of a family-friendly Easter Holiday Special Short Course suitable for family groups with kids of all ages.  (This short course can be completed with kids before having a go at the longer courses for those who want to do both).

Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Vale Inn.  Springtime daylight evening Spunch for runners & walkers. Very family friendly & dog friendly too.

A much-overdue return to one of our favourite SpunchTowns - Bollington is something of a spiritual home having hosted the first concept Spunch back in July 2022.

About 20 mins from M60 J3 & M56 J6.  30 mins from M6 J17,18,19.  Bollington is particularly convenient for Macclesfield, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Disley, Whaley Bridge and Buxton etc.

Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike.  2k to 22k, the choice is yours!   Newcomers and locals especially welcome.  Great for families and friends to do together.  Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers.   Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

Start at your convenience anytime between 430pm & 730pm.  (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm).  Registration open from 430pm.  

Beat the dark!  Catch the Sunset!  Sunset will be around 8pm and it will be dark from 830pm.  Earlier starters will have the advantage of full daylight throughout!  Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch if you expect to be still out after 8pm!

Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.

Explore some of the town's quiet and quaint streets and some of the beautiful surrounding countryside.  With both hilly and less hilly options there is lots to explore.  As well as navigating your way through the town, you might also enjoy sections of the Macclesfield Canal, the Middlewood Way, and the rich network of paths in the surrounding hills and valleys*. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!  

The Vale Inn will provide a warm welcome with excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk.  The pub is child and dog friendly.  And a nice outdoor beer garden area if the weather is kind.

FREE car parking in the town's car parks or street side all within 10 mins walk from the Vale Inn

Catch the Spunch Train.  Macclesfield train station is a 10 min cab ride away.  It is very well served by trains from Manchester, Stockport and Stoke, and everything in between.
