THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE VIA THE ORANGE BUTTON ABOVE. WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Rolling start - Start time to suit you, anytime between 530pm and 730pm. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Wheatsheaf Hotel. Urban Sunset Street Spunch for runners & walkers. Family friendly & dog friendly too.
Our "night-time" no-mud* Street Spunch Series will conclude with our first excursion into Shropshire! This time in and around the attractive market town of Whitchurch.
Within 30 mins from M6 J16 it is reasonably convenient for the Potteries & Newcastle-under-Lyme and very handy for the surrounding area including Crewe, Nantwich , Tarporley, Wrexham, Malpas, Ellesmere, Wem, Shrewsbury, Market Drayton and Audlem etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 530pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 530pm. Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch!
Beat the dark! Catch the Sunset! Sunset will be around 630pm and it will be dark from 7pm. Earlier starters will have the advantage of at least some daylight!
Navigating with an enhanced and simplified 1:10,500 OO street map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore the town's quiet streets, snickets and some off-road trails through local green spaces. Not a hilly one this and lots to explore. As well as finding your way around the town centre, you might also visit Jubilee Park, or the southern end of the Sandstone Trail around Staggs Brook and Waterway Park. Maybe a section of the old railway line on Hatton Way? Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Wheatsheaf Hotel will provide a warm welcome with excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk. The pub is child friendly.
With around 80 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?
Convenient and inexpensive town centre car parking all within 5 mins walk (60p per hour. FREE after 6pm)
Catch the Spunch Train. Whitchurch train station is less than 1k flat walk from the Wheatsheaf, and it is well served by trains from Crewe, Nantwich and Shrewsbury .
