WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY!   ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more.  Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.   Adult 18+ Solo Junior 16+ £5 early bird until Sun 17 Nov £6 standard until Sun 1 Dec £8 late after Sun 1 Dec & on the day Accompanied Junior age 0-17 FREE but must go with a paying parent or guardian over 21

Wednesday evening Street Spunch from the THE FOUNDRY in Congleton's town-centre Market Quarter.  Princess Street, Congleton, CW12 1AB.

A Congleton Christmas Lights Special.  60, 90 or 120 min score course options.  Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Foundry.  Urban Street Spunch in the dark for runners & walkers. Family friendly too.

Our night-time no-mud* Street Spunch Series continues - this time in Congleton.  A particularly nice one this given that the Congleton Christmas Lights will be making the town look super-lovely!  And from the excellent town-centre Foundry, we will make sure the town centre itself is fully-loaded with well-illuminated SpunchPoints!  

Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike.  2k to 22k, the choice is yours!   Great for families and friends to do together.  Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers.  Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

Start at your convenience anytime between 530pm & 730pm.  (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm.   Registration open from 530pm.  Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch!

Navigating with an enhanced and simplified 1:12,500 OO street map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.

Explore the area's quiet streets and snickets and well surfaced trails through the town's green spaces.  In addition to the town centre, you might visit Congleton Park, run alongside the River Dane, or visit sections of the Macclesfield Canal (weather permitting).  Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!

An excellent choice of food & drink available after your run / walk, including the TOTALLY TENNER MENU DEAL    a meal and a pint, wine or other drink for £10.   The Foundry and the whole CMQ site is child friendly.  Well behaved dogs welcome too. 

With around 80 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?

Just 12 mins from M6 J17, and within 20 mins of M6 J16/18 the event centre is conveniently located for Crewe, Nantwich, Alsager, Kidsgrove, the Potteries, Biddulph, Leek, Macclesfield, Alderley Edge, Knutsford, Holmes Chapel, Winsford, Middlewich etc.  Ample and convenient parking adjacent to the Foundry. 

Catch the Spunch Train!  The Foundry is a 2k flat walk from Congleton Train Station which is well served by direct trains from Manchester, Stoke and everything in between.
