THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT Under 18s who go for free with a paying adult. Minimum age 14. Juniors aged 14-17 go for free but must run with a parent or guardian over 21. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Tuesday Evening Spunch Event with support from Potteries Orienteering Club (POTOC) and course setter Ian Ankers. 60/90/120 min hilly score course options using a rich network of public rights of way and concessionary paths. Navigating with an enlarged and enhanced extract of OS Explorer map. Parking, Registration, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or near The Old Red Lion, Froghall Rd, Ipstones, Stoke-on-Trent, ST10 2NA.
A proper mid-week adventure in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands just 12mins from Leek. (30mins from Buxton, Stoke & M6 J15, 40mins from Macclesfield, Congleton & M6 J16).
Run, jog or walk - suitable for fell runners, trail runners, park runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages 14+ and all abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. No dogs allowed on your run/walk at this one sorry.
Start anytime between 6:15pm & 7:15pm. Registration open from 5:45pm.
120 min course participants must start before 6:45pm.
2k to 22k, the choice is yours!
Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A very varied area with a great network of paths & trails. Take in the views from Ipstones Edge, explore the heritage of Froghall Wharfe, and the Caldon Canal, or navigate your way through the wooded valleys in between.
A chilli & chips supper (£6.50) will be available at the Old Red Lion after your run / walk. With a good selection of drinks from the bar, and both indoor & outdoor eating areas, there will be opportunities to compare routes and share success stories!
