A brand new map with two contrasting halves: parkland & dense woods within the Merkinch Local Nature Reserve, leading onto a dense network of alleyways, fences, walls & dead ends in the exciting urban terrain of Merkinch & South Kessock. There is no less than 5m height gain anywhere, the area is pan flat.
Toilets: There are no nearby toilets. Please go before you come, or stop enroute.
Courses:
Course details: As usual for NNC, there will be one long course with maximum technical difficulty, and a short course with slightly less technical challenge. Distances TBC. We will also offer a “Night Novice Course” which doesn’t count towards the NNC. This course will feature about 10 controls and involve about 2.5km of running.
