If you are new to orienteering and will be going round as a group, just enter one person and use the option to select any additional maps that your group would like at £1 each.

A short free coaching session for adult beginners / improvers will be available before the first starts.
Terrain: Open fell area grazed by sheep, with many depressions, niches and some earth walls formed partly by disused quarries and earlier settlements. Quite runnable for younger legs, with limited rock features and some marshy ground.
Courses:
> Yellow 2.1km 40m climb
> Orange 2.6km 40m
> Light Green 3.4km 40m
> Very Short Green 1.9km 35m
> Short Green 3.5km 45m
> Green 4.2km 100m
> Blue 6.0km 100m
> Brown 9.2km 150m
The very short green course is NOT just a shortened version of the short green, so competitors must decide which course they want to run when they enter. Short green and very short green are planned to avoid the worst of the tussocky ground which is extensive.
Starts: 10.30 – 12.30, courses close 14.30
Dogs: On a lead in the car park area only. NO DOGS IN THE COMPETITION AREA – sheep grazing.
Pre-entry only except for the Yellow and Orange courses where there will be some entry on the day subject to map availability.
