Welcome to TweedLove's Family Day, Britain's biggest kids cycle event! An event that's all about taking part, and even more about having fun on your bike. Across the day there is a programme of three fun 'races' for kids of all ages - seeing how many laps they can do, or just going that wee bit faster. Every child will get a TweedLove goodie!
There are no winners' podiums because everyone's a winner here!
Aside from all the fun riding on the race courses, you will also have the chance to chat to the great brands about all things bike and try out some of their award-winning bikes for yourself.
The riding is all on grass at Tweed Green, Peebles. Registration is also on Tweed Green.

Mini Mash Up: Solo riders.
- Mini Mash Up 1 | Any bike | 11.00am – 11.20am | up to 6 years
- Mini Mash Up 2 | Any bike | 11.25am – 11.45am | up to 6 years
- Mini Mash Up 2 | Any bike | 11.50am – 12.10am | up to 6 years
Mega Mash Up: Teams of 2 riders.
- Mega Mash Up 1 | Pedal bikes | 1.00pm – 1.30pm | 6 - 7 years
- Mega Mash Up 2 | Pedal bikes | 1.40pm – 2.10pm | 6 - 7 years
Mighty Mash Up: Teams of 2 riders.
- Mighty Mash up 1 | Team of 2 riders* | 2.30pm - 3.20pm | 8 - 9 years
- Mighty Mash up 2 | Teams of 2 riders* | 3.30pm - 4.20pm | 10 - 11 years
*If you are a Mighty Mash Up team with mixed ages, the team will need to go in the category of the older child.
When entering the team details of the riders, select 'not registered with Si' as this will allow you to enter their details without creating an account.
Categories
- Under 6
- 6 to 7 years old
- 8 to 9 years old
- 10 to 11 years old
Important Notes
• Bring your own bikes.
• Helmets compulsory.
• No stabilisers and no three wheelers allowed.
• A parent or responsible adult must stay with participating children throughout. Adult name and contact for this person can be confirmed/recorded at registration on the day.
