Birdsall Blast MTB and eMTB enduro is staged by NRB Events on Sunday, 19th March 2023 over a hillside course at the Birdsall Estate in North Yorkshire YO17 9NU.
Race classes are for male and female competitors, with classes aged 12+ on MTB and e-MTB machines:
- MTB Female 12-14 / 15-39 / 40+
- MTB Male 12-14 / 15-18 / 19-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50+
- e-MTB Female 14-39 / 40+
- e-MTB Male 14-39 / 40+
- Hardtail 16+
- Fun 16+
The event will begin at 10am and conclude at 3pm and competitors will cover a minimum of one lap comprising four timed stages. Competitors must complete at least one lap of four stages to be classified as a finisher. Competitors will be allowed to walk the course ahead of the race on Saturday, March 18th 2023, the day before the event between 1pm and 4pm.
Final results will be determined by taking a rider’s fastest time over each of the four timed stages and adding them together.
The event will be run under a mash-up format meaning riders can complete each timed stage as many times as they like in the permitted five hours of race time provided they return to Race HQ and hand in their timing chip by the 3pm finishing time.
Camping: Camping will be available at the venue at a cost of £10 per pitch on Saturday, March 18 2023.
