The North West Orienteering Association (NWOA) welcomes you to the JK, the UK's premier annual multi-day orienteering competition. The sprint event is at Lancaster University and forest races in the southern Lakes District

The JK is the UK's premier annual multi-day competition and our aim is to make it a true festival of orienteering.  As well as featuring challenging courses on high quality areas and maps, we aim to provide a family-friendly and fun event.

The festival comprises 4 days of top-class competition over the Easter weekend:

Day 1 Friday 7th April 2023 Sprint Lancaster University IOF World Ranking event, also featuring TrailO competition
Day 2 Saturday 8th April 2023 Middle High Dam IOF World Ranking event, also featuring TrailO competition
Day 3 Sunday 9th April 2023 Long Bigland IOF World Ranking event, also featuring TrailO competition
Day 4 Monday 10th April 2023 Relay Dale Park Enter separately using SIEntries JKrelay event

 

All age class competitors must either be a member of British Orienteering or a member of an IOF-affiliated Federation. Please note the following definitions:

  • Junior: anyone aged 20 or under on 31/12/2023
  • Student: anyone aged 21 or over on 31/12/2023 and in full-time education.
