Litton Birks Loop Fell Race is a BS race; 7.7km with around 372m of ascent. It is a tough climb up to the ridge between Littondale and Upper Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales with a 2 mile loop around the Firth Fell Trig point and Birks Tarn and then back down the hill.
It starts in a field a 5 minute walk from the Queens Arms pub in Litton (please allow 5 minutes to walk to the start)
This is a race for people who are over 16 years old, with some fell running experience. The route will be flagged and there will be marshals.
Registration will be open from 10:30am in the beer garden of the Queens Arms pub in Litton. Parking will be available in a field; please follow marshals instructions for parking and consider car sharing as much as possible. Your entry fee includes a chip butty back in the beer garden of the pub; plus tea/coffee and cakes will be available for purchase. All proceeds go towards the Littondale community.
This race is organised by Jane & Phillip Sheard and the residents of Littondale and is licensed and supported by the FRA, please consider joining the FRA to support the organisation and receive a discount on future race entries.
