Tockholes is set in the catchment area of Upper and Lower Roddlesworth Reservoirs. This challenging competition area offers fast running in a mix of mature deciduous and coniferous woodland, but with new areas of woodland management and plantation. There are many paths and tracks, plus many rock, landform, forest and water features. The area is popular with walkers, dog owners, runners and mountain bikers – take care and give way. Some incidental paths are not marked on the map.
You will be contributing towards the World Orienteering Day total of competitive orienteering runs.
