British Athletics European Off-Road Running Championships Uphill Only Trial. Incorporating the British Uphill Only Mountain Running Championships (for seniors).
Race registration from 15.00 at the Ben Lomond overflow car park. Race start 50m from the car park.
Senior race start 16.30
Junior race start 16.45
Seniors 7.3km 970m ascent
Juniors 5.0km 600m ascent
Runners must carry mandatory kit – waterproof top, bottoms, hat, gloves, map and compass. Water if required. In bad weather runners may also be required to carry an extra thermal top.
Runners race to Ben Lomond summit (juniors 600m) and make their own way down. There is no kit transfer available so runners must be self-sufficient.
The course is fully marked.
Parking at Rowardennan (£3) and Ben Lomond overflow car park.

This event is the British team trial for the uphill only event at the European Off-Road Running Championships in La Palma on 1-3 July. The team consists of 4 male and 4 female athletes (junior and senior).
The senior race is open to athletes born in or before 2002 and open for all to enter.
The junior race is open to athletes born in 2003 to 2006 inclusive. No younger athletes may compete in the junior races.
