British Athletics European Off-Road Running Championships Up-and-Down Trial. Incorporating the Senior Home Countries International
Race registration from 10.00 at the Cochrane Hall, Alva, Clacks. Follow tape to race start - leave plenty of time 2km with 230m of climb.
Senior race start 12.00
Junior race start 12.15
Seniors 18km, 980m ascent/descent
Juniors (U20) 5.4km, 370m ascent/descent
Runners must carry mandatory kit – waterproof top, bottoms, hat, gloves, map and compass. Water if required. Senior race only drinks station at 8km.
The course is fully marked.
Parking at Cochrane Hall and local car parks in the area.
Toilets at Cochrane Hall. No toilets at race start.
This event is the British team trial for the Up-and-Down races at the European Off-Road Running Championships in La Palma on 1-3 July. The Up-and-Down team consists of 4 male and 4 female athletes (junior and senior).
The race incorporates the Senior Home Countries International.
The senior race is open to athletes born in or before 2002 and open for all to enter.
The junior race is open to athletes born in 2003 to 2006 inclusive. No younger athletes may compete in the junior races.
