The 'Penrose Loop' is a well known and loved route to run or walk, and makes for a perfect race! This is an approximately 10k race on the Trail around the Loe Pool, Cornwalls largest natural freshwater lake.
The 20k route follows the same 10k Trails alongside the Loe Pool out to the coast but at Loe Bar heads inland to Chyvarloe and then on road for approximately 2 miles to Church Cove. From here it is coastpath back to Loe Bar to re-join the classic Penrose loop, crossing the Loe Bar and following the same return route through the Penrose Estate as the 10k.
There will be a Freedom Racing 'buff / wrag / multi-functional headwear' as race memento to all finishers!
