Join us on Saturday 3 September in the majestic setting of Drumlanrig, Scotland, for a cycle ride like no other – and raise vital funds to help fight poverty along the way.
Around the world, people who were already vulnerable are being pushed further into poverty due to things like Covid-19, the climate crisis, and conflict. Saddle up for an epic ride and raise funds to help bring hope to people living in extreme poverty.
This September, we’re hoping to raise £10,000. This could train 4,650 people in business and life skills, equipping them to lift themselves out of poverty
The Drumlanrig Cycle Challenge has been getting people on their bikes and enjoying some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery since 2006. The routes have changed a bit over the years but the aim remains the same – to enjoy a fantastic day of cycling on largely traffic-free roads, whilst helping to bring hope to people living in poverty.
This year, the course offers three routes:
All routes start and end at the magnificent Drumlanrig castle and take in Scotland’s breath-taking scenery.
As ever, there’ll be feed stations en route to keep you going, as well as a celebratory big feed.
The registration fee for this year's cycle is £30 per person which will go towards covering the costs of the cycle.
However, the Drumlanrig Cycle Challenge is a fundraising event and we ask every cyclist to consider either:
These two options will be optional during the registration stage. If you decide to fundraise £108 for Tearfund, a JustGiving page will be automatically created for you.
All money raised through these two options will help bring hope to people living in extreme poverty.
If you wish to register your child (aged 14-17) for this challenge, please do register yourself first and, towards the end of your application, there will be an option to "Add New Entry" which will allow you to register your child.
