Lonsdale Fellrunners started life as a group of friends running together who perceived the benefits of establishing a club. We now have a thriving club with a range of abilities including some keen competitive runners. Members are drawn primarily from the Lancaster and Morecambe area. We have many great routes in the local area and also venture into the Howgills and the Lakes on occasion. Runners of all abilities are welcome but we do not run a Junior Section. Our regular club meeting night is Wednesday but some members also make individual arrangements in smaller groups via Facebook for runs on other days and weekends. Our private Facebook page is also used to discuss past and future events and also to post our pictures, stories and general chat.
The club also arranges purely social events for members from time to time.
The club is affiliated to the Association of Running Clubs for the purposes of insurance.
