SCAR stands for Skibbereen Charity Adventure Race.
SCAR is a multi-discipline adventure race held on Sat 22nd Oct 2022 in the environs of Skibbereen, Castletownshend, Lough Hyne and the wild Atlantic coastline of West Cork.
100% TO LOCAL CHARITIES. One important factor that differentiates SCAR from any other event is that this is a NOT FOR PROFIT event, managed by a special volunteer race team on behalf of Skibbereen Lions Club. All race entry fees will be donated 100% to local charities and good causes in the area.
But don’t let this fact lull you into a false sense of security!
SCAR will deliver beginners, intermediates and expert racers a serious challenge that will test and push you to compete and complete this professionally organised and truly memorable course in this unique part of south west Ireland.
