Beat The Train. Settle to Carlisle Railway Guided Trail Running
Guided trail running following the route of the Settle to Carlisle Railway. We will do this in sections between May and August. Exact start times to be confirmed closer to the time of the event when train times are released for Spring/Summer 2022.
May 14th 2022 - 24km (13km option)
Starting in Settle with a run to Ribblehead (option to stop at Horton-in-Ribblesdale and return by train). At Ribblehead we will refuel at The Station Inn before returning on the train to Settle.
Anyone wishing to split the route into two days can enquire. (Settle - Horton, Horton - Ribblehead)
What You Will Need
- Suitable running clothing
- Trail/fell shoes
- Waterproof coat
- Waterproof over trousers
- Water
- Run backpack/bumbag
