The Lets Run Adventures Pathfinder Challenge is a self navigated race which will take place on Sunday 2nd October 2022 with a choice of two distances - 15 or 25 miles, open to walkers and runners alike with a maximum time limit of ten hours. 

The start will be at Ravensgill Camp site, Commondale, North Yorkshire, YO21 2HG.

The cost for entry to the event will be £25. Children under 16 are able to run, but must be accompanied by an adult. Entry fee for U16s will be £10.

Registration will take place between 7:30 am and 8:45 am with a mass start at 9 am. 

There will be minimal refreshments (cake, sweets, crisps) and water at two CPs, and water at a further two. 

Minimum Kit required is as follows:

  • Waterproof Jacket
  • Waterproof Trousers
  • Hat & gloves
  • 500ml of fluid and emergency food. 
  • Map of the area (OL26 or equivalent), working compass
  • Whistle
  • First Aid Kit
  • Head torch (long route only)
  • Bivvy Bag
  • Soft cup for use at CPs.

There will be a random check during the event of an item from the list . Anyone found to be missing that item will be disqualified and withdrawn from the event.

At registration all participants will sign to confirm they have the required kit. 

At the conclusion of the event hot food and drinks will be provided, and all finishers will receive a cloth badge and certificate. 

Anyone entering is reminded that it is a self navigation event and as such will not be marked, public bridleways and rights of way must be used at all times. We have been asked for GPX files which are below but these are recommended not mandatory.

Dogs are welcome on leads, but unfortunately are not allowed on the start/finish site. Please park off site, and pick up/drop off after start/before finish.

This year there will be a maximum of 250 participants.
