Day 1 of the Spring in Lakeland weekend, this National, middle distance event takes place over some of the best orienteering terrain in the country. Previously used for the Northern Championships in 2014 and a national event in 2000, Blakeholme offers both deciduous and coniferous woodland and some open fellside to boot!
A full range of courses are available. The Car parking is on forest tracks in the adjacent Simpsons Ground. Controls will be enabled in contactless mode. All entries to be made via SiEntries, there will be no entries on the day.
Total entries have been capped at 500 (was 400). Anyone who previously joined the waiting list has been emailed and can now enter. If 500 entries are reached before the closing date a new waiting list will be opened. Note that there are very few places left on some courses, particularly Green.
