The Bosun is first mate to The CapTEN and it's younger sibling. 10k instead of 10 miles. The Bosun still takes in the highlights of The CapTEN, Thorncombe Beacon and Golden Cap, two of the crown jewels of the South West Coast Path and Jurassic Coastline but avoids the excursion to Eype and West Bay.

The Bosun is organised by two local club runners for the enjoyment of fellow runners.

CATEGORY 'A' LICENSED FELL RUN: It's got some hills!

Taking in 1,850 feet of climbing we aim to bring the spirit of fell running to the coast!

The race starts and finishes in the seaside village of Seatown, heading East over Thorncombe Beacon before looping back over Golden Cap (626ft) via Langdon, the good news is that it's a run DOWN to the finish!

• MOST IMPORTANTLY - THERE IS A GOOD QUALITY MEDAL FOR FINISHERS FROM RUNNING IMP!
