We are an active, friendly, fell running club based in West Cumbria. All abilities are catered for, with a range of fell running activities from our competitive championship series to long distance challenges, and all that is fell running in-between.
Every Tuesday at 6:30pm we meet for our club run over the fells, the location changes every week so keep an eye on the website.
New members joining between October and December
For any new members who join between October and December your membership will cover the whole of the following year.
Junior members

Social membership
This membership category is for ex-runners or other friends of the club. This is intended for anyone who doesn’t race but still would like to be involved in the club, including receiving newsletters, invites to all social events and access to the closed Facebook group. Social members will not be included in any of the club championships nor in any team events/relays.
English Athletics
Any senior who wants to complete individually (or as part of a club team) in the English or British championship will either need to be a member of the FRA (join here) or register with English Athletics. If you wish to be registered with the EA an additional £19 (per person) will be payable on top of the standard CFR membership fee. If you do not register with the EA you may be asked for a levy on road or cross-country races, however you will not be asked at any fell race. Note: The EA registration period is 1st April to 31st March, for any payments made between 1st October and 1st April, unless this is a renewal of an EA registration, you will be contacted to agree the period of EA registration.
