Starting at the Pewsey Scout Hut SN9 5ES (SU162601), this circular walk on footpaths and bridleways has beautiful views over the Vale of Pewsey and Marlborough Downs. The route visits many sites of archaeological interest, including Avebury Stone Circle, Windmill Hill, and passes close to the Stone Avenue, Silbury Hill, the Sanctuary and the Long Barrow. It also takes in the Giant's Grave, Wansdyke, Morgan's Hill, Cherhill, Tan Hill. Maps Exp 157 and Landranger 173

Start Time:  Walkers start after registration from 08.00, Runners 09.00

Time Limit: 12hrs for ALL. ALL to finish by 20.00.

Limited to 300 entries

Checkpoint closing times will be strictly adhered to and entrants will be retired by the Marshals if they are late at the checkpoints. Transport back to Scout Hut provided. No dogs in hall and must be on leads at all times and have public liability insurance. 

All participants must bring their own mug for drinks. Includes light refreshment at CPs, meal at finish, and certificate for all finishers.
