European Cycle Events are delighted to announce that we are the official event organisers of the Johan Museeuw UK Sportive along with our headline sponsor Le Col.
What can you say about the Lion of Flanders ,the term “Legend” is used all too often but on this occasion it’s so accurate “The Lion of Flanders” , “King of the Cobbles.” Johan’s palmares speaks for itself , 3 x Flanders winner, 3 x Roubaix winner , ex-world champion , 2 x world cup winner ,11 days in yellow,80 days plus in green jersey , the list goes on, click here to read about the legend himself Johan Museeuw.This is more than a Sunday Sportive , it’s a unique Cycle Experience Weekend.
It starts on Saturday where you can sign on, relax in the grounds of The Curve @ Cobham and enjoy the lunch time buffet. On Sunday riders will the leave The Curve and take on the circa 120km course and ride with one of your cycling heroes, challenge yourself to keep up with him. Then comes the highlight of the weekend a special evening dinner and the chance to listen to Johan’s days in the Pro-Peleton followed by a Q&A and a raffle raising money for Le Cure Breast Cancer Charity.
This event offers the option to purchase upgraded refundable terms, so that participants may be able to get a refund if they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
