This is the sixth Welland Valley Sportive organised again this year by Welland Valley Cycling Club (WVCC) with the assistance of many volunteers.
Our aim is twofold: first to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and second, to encourage cycling for all abilities and ages. Proceeds are to Macmillan with a donation to Thomas's Fund, a charity which is close to the heart of many WVCC members . Info on the fantastic work that Macmillan do can be found here and info on Thomas's Fund can be found here
Sportives are non-competitive events. Ride at your own pace. Press on or stop and survey the scenery at your leisure!
All rides start and finish at Grange Farm, Thorpe Langton, home of Langton Brewery.
Refreshments will be available before and after your ride and there is a refreshment stop 'on course' for all rides except the 25k off road route.
All road routes will be fully signed and the 25k off road route will be signed. The 100k and 60k off road routes due to their challenging nature will be require a GPS navigator.
A ‘broom wagon’ will be on patrol for breakdowns or transport and medical support will be available during the event..
Consent forms will be needed for all under 18’s.
