A 26.4- or 17.5-mile circular route from Galleywood Common over pasture and through woodland in Middle Essex. The Essex Walker 26.4 mile event is part of the Essex and Herts Triple Challenge, together with Blackwater Marathon and Herts Hobble.
Venue: Galleywood Heritage Centre, The Common, Galleywood. CM2 8TR (GR TL 702 025).
Distance: 26.4 or 17.5 miles
Start times: 26.4 mile walkers 8:00am, runners 9:00am. 17.5 mile walkers 9.30am, runners 10.00am. All to finish by 6:00pm.
Costs include drinks at start, snacks at checkpoints, light meal at finish, and certificate to all finishers.
Entry limit 200. Entries close Sunday 3rd April or earlier if limit reached. Entries are not transferable. No entries on the day.
No refunds after 3rd April unless the event is cancelled.
No dogs
All entrants to bring a mug.
Minimum age 16, under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
