PARKING: On site parking, please follow Marshal’s directions.
START: Hall opens from 07.30 for registration. There will be a rolling start for Walkers from 08.00 and Runners/Fast Walkers and short route from 09.00. When choosing a start time PLEASE take into account opening/closing times of checkpoints. All must finish by 18.30hrs. The hall will close at 19.00hrs.
CHECKPOINT OPENING & CLOSING TIMES WILL BE ADHERED TO.
FINISH TIME All to finish by 18.30. Hall close @ 19.00

THE OBJECT To complete your chosen route, using a route description through a number of checkpoints. There will be 3 on 27 mile, 2 on 18 mile and 1 on 14 mile routes.
ROUTES DESCRIPTIONS YOU MUST DOWNLOAD & PRINT YOUR OWN ROUTE DESCRIPTION. Route description will be on website from 25th February 2022. If you are unable to do this, please contact Mike at firstname.lastname@example.org
EQUIPMENT We recommend you wear suitable footwear & clothing, also to have maps Landranger 152 &141 or Explorer 223 & 224, Waterproofs, your own drinking mug (as no mugs will be supplied at checkpoints), a compass & torch (if finishing after dark), hand sanitiser and face mask (relating to Covid-19).
RETIREMENTS If you retire you MUST inform a walk official, transport will be provided from checkpoint only.
AWARDS This event is not a race & there are no prizes. However, a certificate & pin badge will be awarded to all who finish their chosen route.
This is part of a triple challenge with the Chiltern Kanter and The Pick and Mix.
REFRESHMENTS: The entry fee includes drinks throughout, biscuits at the start, snacks at all checkpoints & a light meal at the finish. Refreshments provided are prepared & served under controlled conditions, although, naturally, all practical efforts will be taken to maintain food safety. However, from a legal standpoint, entrants should independently determine the suitability of the refreshments we provide.
THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.
ENTRIES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE & NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.
A £2.00 admin fee will be charged on cancellations advised before on 20th February 2022, after this date no refunds will be given.
