Autumn Intro Event (2/4) at Marsden Park.
Snook-O is an orienteering version of the game of snooker. Points are gained by 'potting' coloured controls in sequence but, like a score event points are lost for late return. Maximise your 'break' to win!
The Snook-O Long course has 11 red balls/controls and the Short course has 6. Pot these sequentially followed by any colour. Then finish with the usual colour sequence.
The park is also home to the Marsden Park Old Hall Cafe, which will be our base for the event.
Important note: This is an AFTERNOON event with first starts at 13:00. The late start enables anyone who participates in other Saturday morning sports to engage in both activities.
Following British Orienteering advice about Return to Orienteering (England), this event is pre-entry and pre-pay only. See entry details below.
PFO Covid Security Measures: We have adopted extra procedures at all our events both for your safety and the safety of others.
