The Souter Lighthouse Trail 10km will return for its 2nd year in 2022 along the beautiful coastline trails. The event will take place as part of the Souter Lighthouse Summer Running Weekend alongside the South Shields 10 Mile Race. The race was a huge hit in 2021 and we expect the race to reach capacity early.

All finishing runners will receive a Souter Lighthouse Trail 10km memento for taking part. Awards will be provided for first 3 male & female.

The course passes by Whitburn Nature Reserve, Marsden Rock/Marsden Bay, Frenchman's Bay & has fantastic views overlooking Sandhaven Beach.

The Souter Lighthouse 10km course is 1 full lap set on coastal trail paths & footpaths.
