This Autumn sees a welcome return to TACH’s in-person races, with our well-loved 12.5 mile route through wonderful countryside. Starting in Keynsham, it includes the revived Compton Dandy route, complete with at least 2 streams. You’ll be soaked by the end!
Race HQ: The New Inn, 90 Bath Hill, BS31 1HN. NB. Strictly no parking at the pub – see below for parking information.
Time: Registration will open at 8.45am and close at 9.45am.
The race will start promptly at 10am from the southern end of the car park. Canicross runners will start 5 mins after the main race begins.
Parking: East Car Park on Bath Hill, Keynsham BS31 1HH.
Parking is free all day on race day.
The race HQ is a 3 minute walk from the car park - marshals will show you the way.
If possible please share transport on the day, as TACH is concerned to minimise the environmental impact of its events.
Prizes awarded to: 1st, 2nd and 3rd (M&F) as well as first V40, V50, V60 and (if applicable) 70+ (both M&F). Spot prizes may also be given. M&F team prizes (teams of 4).
Entries: 200 max including 30 canicross entries. If running with a dog, please make this clear with your entry.
COVID: We hope to have a mass start but will need to adapt according to whatever Covid rules are in force at the time. Should the event be cancelled due to lockdown, we will refund runners in full or offer a rollover to next time.
Strictly no entries on the day.
All TACH races operate under Trail Running Association (TRA) rules with permits provided by the Association of Running Clubs.
This event offers the option to purchase upgraded refundable terms, so that participants may be able to get a refund if they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
