Caradoc Classic Fell Race

5.6 km, 268m ascent. The race route is a circuit up and down Caer Caradoc, near Church Stretton. Starting from the bottom of the of the hill. 135 limit, with no substitutions or waiting lists - please only enter if you're sure! The course will be marked.
Numbers: Numbers will be available at the start and will be in named envelopes. This will contain an on the day form which the FRA require all starters to fill in bring a pen and a few pins.
Facilities: No toilets - you need to use the ones in the car park before you walk to the start. Strictly no parking around the event you must park in the main carpark in town and walk to the start.
Directions: From the car park in town: turn left from the Loos back to the road turn right and head past the station to the A49 Junction. Take care and cross with caution this is a busy road. Once across, take the lane first left past the sub-station. Bear right up a lane (don’t go through the estate). You will come to a gated field where the race HQ will be. (GR 463 941). We will put some signs out to help you find the start. We have given a grid reference as there isn't a Post Code!! The map shows the the location of the start
Kit requirements: It’s likely you may only need a waterproof top; however, you should have the minimum kit for an FRA race available in case. A decision will be made on the night. Face covering such as a buff will need to be available at the start.Bring your own water. We will arrange for somewhere at the start for you to leave kit you don't need during the race.
Timing: We will not be using dibbers for this event. You will be timed on the line by watch.
Presentation: There will be no presentation and prizes will be mailed to the winners. Results will be available online asap after the event. Probably next day!
Covid updates/rules may change on the 19th but we will be keeping the new start and parking arrangements regardless. So don't drive to the start.
