The Lets Run Adventures Hanging Stone Leap will take place on Saturday 8th August 2021 this will be ran with the same format as previous years with a self navigated route and choice of two distances - 13mls or 24 miles.

The event is open to both walkers, runners, and enjoy the dayers with a maximum time limit of ten hours. 

The cost for entry to the event will be £20. Children under 16 are able to run, but must be accompanied by an adult. Entry for U16s will be £10.

The start and finish will be from Guisborough Rugby Club, Belmangate, Guisborough, TS14 7BB. 

Registration will take place between 7:30 am and 8:45am with a mass start at 9:00 am. 

There will be minimal refreshments and water at two CPs, and water only at a further two others. 

Course swaps will be facilitated.

Minimum Kit required is as follows:

  • Waterproof jacket
  • Hat & gloves
  • 500ml of fluid and emergency food. 
  • Map of the area (OL26 or equivalent), working compass
  • Whistle
  • Head torch.
  • Bivvy Bag
  • Soft cup for use at CPs.

There will be a random check during the event of an item from the list . Anyone found to be missing that item will be withdrawn from the event. At registration all participants will sign to confirm they have the required kit. 

At the conclusion of the event hot food and drinks will be provided, and all finishers will receive a cloth badge and certificate. 

Anyone entering is reminded that it is a self navigation event and as such will not be marked, public bridleways and rights of way must be used at all times. Route selection is down to the individual as long as all of the checkpoints are visited in the correct order.

There is no participant parking at the Rugby Club as this is required for marshalls but public car parks in Guisborough are currently free on Sundays and close by. 

Dogs are welcome on leads!

This year there will be a maximum of 150 participants.
