Pontesbury Fell Race

WFRA registered fell race over Pontesford Hill; AS, 4.9km, 354m. Start: 7.30pm.
This is using the same route as in previous years, except in reverse direction.
Parking will be in Pontesbury School car park. Please car-share if possible.
Registration and race start/finish will take place on the sports field on the opposite side of Bogey Lane. Please do NOT use school buildings. Portaloos will be provided on the sports field.
Numbers and dibbers will be available for collection from a gazebo on the sports field.
Please bring your own drink/water as this will not be provided at the race.
There will be a mass start to the race.
Covid restrictions mean competitors must wear a face mask at the start of the race (to be placed in a pocket when 2m apart). A waterproof top must be carried if the weather is wet or windy
Following the race
If you develop Covid-19 symptoms and/or have a positive test within 72 hours of the race, you must inform the Race Organiser.
If you test positive you should complete the UKA Covid-19 Report Form
There will be no presentation after the race. Prizes will be sent later by post. Results will be available on the Mercia Fell Runners website as soon as possible after the race.
Some of the proceeds from the race will be given in charitable donations.
