MOR MTBO Weekend: Anagach Middle Distance

British MTBO Middle Distance Championships, part of the Moravian Orienteering Club MTBO Weekend. Friday evening middle distance held at Anagach, Grantown-on-Spey. To be competetive in the British Championships please enter your appropriate age class. Other riders can enter any of the 3 open courses.
Course A: 9km Open, M/W18 - M/W60)
Course B: 6km (Open, M/W16, M/W70+)
Course C: 4km (Open, M/W10, M/W12, M/W14) (It is advised that U14s are shadowed)
Anagach is a natural pine wood with an intricate and well drained path network. The terrain consists of glacial sand and gravel ridges surrounded by extensive marsh. Hills are mostly short and sharp.
Pre entries only. MTBO sprint. Starts between 18.30 and 19.30 with courses closing at 20.30.
British Mountain Bike Orienteering (BMBO)
This event is registered and insured through BMBO. Anyone is able to participate but if you wish to join BMBO please register at https://www.bmbo.org.uk/.
Adults membership £8/year or you can register as day rider for free. U21 free.
Safety Information
This event is organised by Steve Smirthwaite (BMBO member MTB006289) and members of Moravian Orienteering Club. The club will follow MTBO guidelines but also the more comprehensive guidelines produced by Scottish Orienteering and British Orienteering Federation.
