Run Able is delighted to offer its inaugural Ultra!

The 'RunAble Ultra' consists of a 50km (30mile) fully marked road route - an introductory distance event, offering the ideal introduction to Ultra running and an opportunity to have a go, before maybe stepping up to longer distances.

Register upon arrival on the day, collect your event pack and start line time then head for the start line!

The route is fully marked, all you have to do is run, walk or crawl.

Current restrictions limit availability to 30 participants, so please register your interest asap!

Event Details:

Location: Registration and finish are located at Bank street -  Briggate, Brighouse HD6 1EJ.

Parking: Preferably arrange to car share, hire a mini bus, walk or jump on a train. Nearest railway station is Brighouse, a 4mi walk from event HQ.

Registration: 08:00 - 08:30Race number and timing chip will be issued at registration. Please remember to return your chip to us at the end!

Costs: £25 per person, no entry on the day.

Memento: Memento and certificate of completion for all finishers

Start List: Will be available 2 days prior to event day. We are limited to just 30 participants.

Aid Station: 25k (half way). Top up those drinks and grab a snack!

Special Information:

You must carry all your own kit at all times.
This is summer so we will be relaxed on the full kit, asking that you bring just the following:
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Water bottle and or cup, there are none at the aid station (a water bladder does count as a bottle but then you WILL need a cup)
  • Mobile phone (make sure this is fully charged and not been used as any kind of navigational aid, route is fully marked) - we will issue you our emergency number on the day at registration.
  • Foil blanket
  • Snacks - it is 30 miles of hills, do not rely on the aid station.
  • Pennies for the bar!
Drop bags can be left at the event centre.

This ultra is 100% on roads, some busy some quiet, we highly recommend that you are as visible as possible at all times.

Headphones - busy, dangerous main roads, crossings and areas with narrow paths mean that headphones are a no, if we catch you with them, we will disqualify you. (Bone conductive headphones are perfectly ok to use).

Finally, please make sure to check the weather, and be prepared!
