A super evening race, run from the heart of the village, with refreshments and community involvement. Cragg Vale is a BS category fell race, run over a distance of 4miles (6.4km) and with 800ft (244m) of climbing. All profits from the race will go to the Cragg Vale Church.

The race is licensed by the FRA under UKA rules. Unlikely to need more than a waterproof top, but a decision on kit will be made on the night. Please bring FRA mandatory minimum kit just in case which includes waterproof full body cover (with taped seams & integrated attached hood) + hat or buff + gloves + appropriate map + compass (not out of a Christmas cracker!) + whistle. Runners must be 14 or over on race day.

Parking: On the Main Cragg Vale Road, NOT down by the church/Hinchcliffe Arms.
Covid changes: Due to the ongoing situation, there will be essential updates emailed to participants. Please keep an eye on your inboxes in the week prior to the race (w/c 21st June).
