The event takes place in a mixture of open and woodland along the north bank of the River Wansbeck. The area has an extensive path network and there is a small area of sand dunes on some courses. The Blue course also visits nearby streets. There are brambles in the area so full leg cover is advised.
Please be aware that there may be dog walkers and horse riders in the area.
Loan dibbers will not be available on the day. NEOA are offering long-term hire by post until the end of May (this date may be extended) for one payment of £5.
The event is to be conducted under government and British Orienteering guidelines current at the time with an entry number restricted for each 15 minute start block. Please arrive shortly before your start block and leave when you have finished your run. A full refund will be offered to anyone who has to cancel due to self-isolating.
