Kong Mini Mountain Marathon Round 1 - Lake District

The Kong Mini Mountain Marathon series 2021 comprises of four x 4 hour fell running & navigation score events in the Peak District, Lake District and North Wales. Best 3 results count towards a final league score with great prizes.
Each event is a challenging and testing event across moorland, fell or mountainous terrain. As it is a score event everybody can set out a route that matches their ability. Strong Walkers are welcome as well.
This June race is the postponed April race. We are aiming to get permission following the UK COVID roadmap publication for Borrowdale in the Lake District as event area. We got permission there last year for one of the races we had to cancel. If that does not work we will aim to find another area in the Lake District.
Registration opens at 7:30 am on the day. Start in selected 15 mins time slots between 8 am and 10:30 am. Try to arrive at registration at least 30 minutes before you intend to run. At the start line you will be give a waterproof map and a control description / value sheet. The course remains open until 3:00 pm.
Due to COVID we cannot provide any food or drinks.
