LET US MAKE YOUR CHALLENGE A GRAND DAY OUT

Welcome to a grand weekend in the Peak District. Our walk takes in the summits of Black Hill, Bleaklow and Kinder Scout. Discover glorious and remote high moorland, gritstone edges and the spectacular Kinder Downfall waterfall, all along classic and historic trails.

This Open Group challenge is fully supported and guided by experienced local Mountain Leaders. Includes…

  • Transport from meeting point in Hayfield to the start of the walk at Wessenden.
  • Support vehicle with snacks, refreshments and drinks at road crossing on the route.
  • Pre-event notes and advice to help you make the most from your challenge.

If you choose to raise money for charity as part of the Peak District 3 Peaks Challenge, this is great. The price you pay is for the professional event organisation and guiding. There’s no minimum sponsorship, hidden fees etc, hence all the money you raise is for you to donate to your chosen cause.

****FELL RUNNERS PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU'RE ENTERING THE CORRECT EVENT -  THIS GUIDED & SUPPORTED CHALLENGE WALK IS NOT THE YORKSHIRE 3 PEAKS FELL RACE****

SAFETY & OTHER MATTERS

Ranger Expeditions’ Peak District 3 Peaks Challenge is a guided walk and larger groups will have several guides to look after you on the trail. If at any time you feel unwell during the trek, please let us know. Do graze on snacks and keep hydrated during the walk, a little fatigue is often resolved by taking on something to eat and drink.

Unsurprisingly, there are no toilets on the hills, but there are plenty of discrete places for a call of nature. Do let one of our guides know if you move away from the trail for any reason. We encourage folks to mingle and enjoy their day, but please do not move ahead or out of sight of your guide. If you do find yourself separated, remain where you are and call the duty number given out at the start of the walk.

Photography: We often have a photographer on our events. Complimentary photos of your day with us are made available to download via our social media platform. If you do not want your photograph to be taken please let us know on the day so we can respect your wishes.

GDPR: As part of our duty of care to you, we need to hold your contact details and any medical declarations (in-confidence) for the build-up and duration of the walk. These will not be passed on to any third parties and will be carefully disposed of afterwards.

Dogs: We love our four-legged friends. But for practical reasons, we’re sorry dogs are not permitted on this challenge.
