The Dunkeld Enduro

The Dunkeld Enduro is back and ready to deliver a day of exciting racing over a great mix of the fast and technical trails that Dunkeld is infamous for and will continue with the inclusion of the Lite and Full options providing something for everyone.
The Lite option will be 4 stages of mostly red graded trails with the Full option including 2 more technical stages of black grade trails. The Lite course is approximately 28km with 900m ascent, Full course is approximately 40km with 1400m ascent.
We will be using the SPORTident "Air+" timing which allows the rider to ride through the start and finish gates with no "dibbing" allowing for an accurate and instant course time.
Event HQ: St Ninian's Gardens, Dunkeld, PH8 0AT (please note there is no car access to the gardens)
Event Registration and Start: As a change from previous years we will now ask you to select a registration time when you enter. This will also form your start time as we ask that you are ready to ride as soon as you register in the morning. This will allow fewer people to gather in the gardens as our event HQ isn't huge. The time slots will be spread from 8am - 10:40am. We also ask that you wear a face covering at registration and maintain 2m distancing where possible. There will be no rider briefing, this will be emailed prior to the event only.
Event Prize Ceremony: Time TBC. We may also only invite the 1st-3rd place winners from each category along to the podiums (with immediate friends/households) as to limit numbers within our event HQ. Further details will be in the pre-event email.
Parking: At your own discretion but please ensure you park sensibly to avoid local upset. North car park, Tay Terrace, recreation ground and on street are all options, as is pedalling to the event HQ if you are local.
Toilets: FREE - North car park public toilets (please show attendant entry confirmation email or number board to gain free access).
The Dunkeld Enduro is suitable for mountain bike riders with some level of experience in riding red/black technical downhill single track. We aim to keep the tracks as flowing as possible and suitable for as many riders as possible, but we advise that the trails are not suitable for beginners. If you are in doubt that this event is for you then get in touch or speak to Progression Bikes, Dunkeld.
The Dunkeld Enduro is an independent event run by Highland Perthshire Cycling (SCO44141) and volunteers to showcase the fantastic riding in this area. Volunteers work with HPC and the Tayside Trail Association tirelessly throughout the year on maintaining trails and seeking new ones and this event is the showcase for all their hard-work.
Riders entering must be aged 14 as of 1st January 2021. Riders aged under 16 on the 12th June 2021 must be accompanied by an adult rider on the course (there is no charge for the adult rider place and they do not receive a timing chip but must sign in on the day and collect a chaperone number board from registration). If you have your own SIAC Active Timing Card you can use it at this event and recieve a £3.60 discount on your entry price. You can purchase a SIAC from the SPORTident UK website here, or here to personalise the colour and number. Anyone using their own timing chip and wish to pull out of the event please let a marshal know you are doing this (the search party get a bit worried!), cheers.
