The UWMD is a 70 mile ultra with a generous 24 hour cut off that covers a wide variety of landscapes around West Yorkshire. The route will be marked with addition of course maps handed out at for each next section at each of 3 fully stocked aid stations which will offer salty potatoes, hot soup, gels, water and many more goodies. Multiple types of terrain cover the course which will take you through and past some stunning and historic scenery. On hand physio at check point 2 for any niggles or rubs that maybe required.
This will become the crown in Odyssey’s event diary and set to be an annual event with the prestigious Odyssey Cup which 1st place finisher will have their name engraved onto the cup. They can then keep the cup until next year’s race, this will also grant them FREE automatic entry into next year’s race to see if they can hold onto the title.
