Race Secretary - Sarah Watson

A multi-terrain event of approximately 13 miles with mud, hills, fields, woodland tracks and quiet country lanes with stunning views. The route has had a slight change this year to reduce the amount of looping back past other runners.

Start Time:
10:30am (waves of 12, set off 2 minutes apart)

Race starts and finishes at the sports field Sandy Lane, Dawlish, Devon.
Please use Sandy Lane car park (charges apply) or road side parking where permitted.

1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female.
Male and female teams, 3 finishers to count.

Covid-19 guidance

Please do not attend if you or anyone within your household has shown symptoms of Covid in the final 2 weeks before the event.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to use Dawlish Leisure Centre as Race HQ this year and therefore unable to offer designated changing, bag storage or toilet facilities. There are public toilets available in Sandy Lane car park. In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, we would advise you to not car share with anyone from outside your own household.

The race will be started in waves of 12 set off 2 minutes apart. Please be as realistic as possible with your predicted times - this is to ensure minimum overtaking on the course and therefore a safer race for everybody. We will inform you of your exact start time closer to the date of the event.

Please do not congregate especially at the start / finish area. Turn up to the start area in the final 10 mins before your wave is due to start. Waves will be started at exact times and if you miss your wave we will be unable to adjust your finish time accordingly. Water will be available on the course and at the finish but you will need to pick it up from the attended table yourself rather than it being handed to you. Medals and trophies will be posted out after the event.

We apologise that the event will have a different feel to it this year, but our priority is being able to provide a safe event for participants, spectators and the general public. Please rest assured that in future years when restrictions are reduced we will aim to give our usual warm Coasters welcome with presentations, lots of cheering and a more personal touch at all of our events.
