Our brand new event the WMD Newby Haul 5 &10k is a flat yet challenging course taking in all the sights of Newby Hall Estate. The mixed terrain course makes for interesting running and we cater for the all too often left out 5k runner too! perfect for couch to 5k graduates who deserve to have their brilliant achievements rewarded!
With music to get you going, and loads of goodies with this race you can rest assured you will feel like you have achieved greatness when treating yourself to a cold drink at the end. Come and earn your stripes in the off road run community.
The course winds its way through green pastures, river banks, through wooded areas and along gravel paths. It passes the Christ the Consoler Church and has stunning views of the main house. This course has a little bit of everything and we hope it will delight seasoned runners and new runners alike.
We reward your efforts with a technical T-shirt (as long as you enter by 8th August), sausage butty (veggie and vegan versions available) and a beer and you also get vouchers for future days out at Newby Hall, there may be other benefits on the day, we will keep you updated! WMD Events provide a warm up with music, ample parking right next to the start and a fully marshalled and well signed course. Thank you for entering and we look forward to seeing you in September!
