UPDATE: 23/8/2021 - The event is now closed and no more entries will be taken from waiting list. The small amount of entries that came available on 20/8/21 sold within 24 hours. Due to maximum number we are allowed on course, we cannot take anymore. Thank you for looking and join us in 2022.

The Classic 26.2 Mile Off-Road Event for Runners, pairs or individual
- Race Category CL. 26.2 miles 3065` from Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Road, Haworth, BD22 8DW (GR 032374).
- Quality T-shirt to all finishers. Timing by SPORTident. This was originally a pairs event but now majority complete as solo runners. Over 18 only. Hot meal and cakes at finish & refreshments en-route, you are requested to carry a mug. The route is partially marked but you are recommended to reccy the course & must carry the relevant map. This is an off road event & run under FRA rules & guidelines. The route covers open moorland & the highest point in West Yorkshire. Fell Runners Association Mandatory Minimum Kit applies so please carry full body cover, hat, gloves,map, compass whistle & emergency food.
- People intending on walking or who anticipate race time of more than 7 hours may start anytime from 7.30am onwards as we will ‘dib’ you out from registration when you are ready to start so you still benefit from official race timing based on your individual start time even if it is very early. Please note that very early starters may arrive at first feed station before officially opened. Generous race cut offs will apply at all feed stations with an overall event cut off at the finish of 5pm. For full race updates/info, follow the race Facebook page.

- Random kit checks will be made and category winners will be checked at finish line.

Half Marathon Off-Road Event for Walkers & Runners
- Race category BL. 14.8m/1750’ from Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Rd, Haworth, BD22 8DW (GR 032374 on the South Pennines OS Map).
- Race for individuals only starts at 10:30am for runners and walkers.
- Refreshments en route and hot meal/cake at finish. Quality t-shirt to all finishers.Route partially flagged, reccy recommended. This event is run under FRA rules & guidelines so mandatory minimum kit must be carried including full waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, map, whistle, compass & emergency food. Timing by SPORTident. Follow the race Facebook site for full information of reccy runs, GPX files and latest race information. There is no cut off for half marathon as the finish will be open until 5pm for marathon finish.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
a) If the race is postponed then a full refund less SI Entry admin fee will be offered or free deferral to either Haworth Hobble or Yorkshireman in 2022.
b) You may request a free deferral for any reason upto 23:59 on 20th August 2021. You can defer to either Haworth Hobble or Yorkshireman in 2022. No deferrals will be allowed after this date for any reason.
c) You can substitute your race entry for any reason to 23:59 on 5th September 2021. You must do this yourself via editing your entry on SI Entries.
d) At time of writing (1st Dec 2020), we have no idea whether Covid 19 will affect the event. We reserve the right to change all aspects of event described above to allow it to proceed. We were one of the few events to successfully run in 2020 with many changes forced on us by Covid.
