A 50-mile/5,500ft circuit of the Yorkshire Dales for experienced walkers and runners
Using footpaths, bridleways and quiet roads through the attractive dales of Wensleydale and Swaledale including an ascent of Great Shunner Fell. To be completed in 24 hours.
Start/Finish:
Harmby Village Hall, Brook Terrace, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, DL8 5PG GR: SE128895.

Registration 07:00-08:15.
Start:
Start 0830 (no late starts after the Sweepers have left). To be completed in 24 hours.
Entry Details:
Early entry (All comers) £20 up to 01.01.21.
Then LDWA £25. Non-LDWA & On the day £30.
Non-LDWA and runners are more than welcome. Over 18's only. Sorry, no dogs, due to lambing season.
Entry includes:
Tea & toast at registration, refreshments at checkpoints, hot meal at halfway & breakfats at finish, badge & certificate. Showers & changing facilities available throughout. Basic sleeping area and parking for caravettes (no hook-up) avaiable for Fri night & completion (Pre-book required).

Full refund up to 1 month before event (Less £5 admin fee). After that no refund due to admin costs. Substitutions allowed if prior notice given to entry secretary.
As this is a walk over moorland and at night; a suggested kit list (weather dependant) includes: suitable footwear, waterproofs (top & trousers) & spare fleece, compass, whistle, torch (with spare batteries) & emergency foil blanket & food. Navigational skills required for night time walking over open moorland.
Please bring a mug to use on the event.
