We are sad to have to announce that our 2020 Tidal Triple Series has been postponed until 2021. We have been holding out for as long as possible and keeping an eye on all of the government announcements & guidelines but we can no longer put off the decision. In order to ensure the safety of runners and volunteers as well as adhering to the restrictions that are in place, we have put the event back to next year now.  The dates for 2021 will be 28th, 29th and 30th May.  For those who have already signed up online, you should have now received an email from us, via SiEntries.
For those who still want to grab some shiny bling at the end of May, we have a 'Virtual Run' Option and the entry fee will just be £15 per day. This is to cover cost of the medals and the cost of postage.
If you would like to take part in a virtual run, simply record a run via Strava or other run application. Send us evidence of your run along with your home postal address (plus a finish photo if you prefer) to: and then we'll get your medal posted out to you.
If you want to run the virtual triple and earn all three medals (bronze, silver and gold) simply enter all three virtual runs and send us the evidence, then we'll get all your medals posted out to you.

We'll share photos and finish times on our Facebook page, and also to our website

If you have any questions or concerns please contact us either via email, Facebook, or contact myself on 07508124580.

3 coastal marathons and 3 beautiful venues, the Tidal Triple Series brings runners 3 of Barrow's coastal pathways which are traffic free and with a variety of terrain to cater for all running styles. Each course is a lapped route and aid stations are well stocked to support the runners. The events are timed events and each race has a 6 hour cut-off (marathon) and 3 hour cut-off (half marathon).

Day 1: Barrow Coastal Challenge (29th May) will start at Rampside Village Hall – LA13 0PY and will be a 2 lap course. The 13.2 mile route runs along the "Old Line" coastal path that goes back towards Barrow and then from Barrow all the way back to Roa Island.  The 5km and 10km runners have a shorter loop, 1 lap for the 5km and 2 laps for the 10km.

Day 2: Dockside Dilemma Challenge (30th May) will start at the Dock Museum Barrow – LA14 2PW and will utilise the surrounding coastal paths to deliver a fast and flat (ish) marathon course. This route is 8 laps for the marathon distance, 4 laps for the half, 2 laps for 10km and 1 lap for 5km.

Day 3: Sandy Gap Gallop (31st May) will start at Sandy Gap on Walney Island – LA14 3JT and will be a 8 lap course (8 x 3.35 miles) for the marathon, 4 laps for the half, 2 laps for 10km and 1 lap for 5km.
