The South Wales group of the Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA) is delighted to be hosting the annual hundred mile walk during the weekend of 29th - 31st May 2021.
The Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA) organise their ‘flagship’ 100 event each Spring Bank Holiday Weekend. This event is held in a different area each year and entails walking 100 miles in 48 hours.
There will be about 500 people starting the event on the morning of Saturday 29th May 2021 and they will walk with only short breaks until they finish. The fastest will finish in about 24 hours, and the slowest in 48 hours.
A walk littered with castles, abbeys and priories, historic towns and a church with a leaning tower that rivals Pisa.
