Welcome to the 2021 event page for Belles and Buns part 1 brought to you by the Coupar Angus Cycling Hub!

The well loved format of the ladies only event with 3 route options with cake and refreshment stops will take place on Sunday the 2nd of May 2021.

This is a female event focusing on being with friends, getting some exercise and eating cake! The cycling is through Perthshire and Angus on beautiful, quiet roads with a mixture of gradients to suit all abilities.

64 Mile route - A 9am start straight out into a beautiful scenic route taking in part of the Sidlaw hills to give you a good challenge but twice the reward when you cross the finish line to the array of Coupar Angus Cakes and refreshments.

32 Miler - A very sociable start time at midday that is nice and mellow to get the legs warmed up before some more challenging sections but with lots of time to complete it you can do it at your own pace.

16 mIler - Here to encourage people to get onto bikes, see others get back in the saddle after a while off and for those after a super relaxed ride which is nice and flat with quiet roads. Cake and refreshments at the end.

All routes will start and finish in Coupar Angus with more emphasis on a fun social with cakes and refreshments after you finish, so you can completely relax knowing that you have earned your cakes!

Your entry fee includes all refreshments, mechanic backup on route, first aid on route, and a fully signed (cautionary signage for cars as well as directional and cautionary signage for you on the route) and marshalled (Over 30) routes to keep you as safe as possible and give you peace of mind so that you can enjoy your day on the bike as much as possible. You will also get a bespoke Belles and Buns finishing medal (Made at a local Social Enterprise - The Workshop, Aberfeldy)

There will be early bird registration the day before the event (9th May 2pm - 5pm) at the Coupar Angus Cycling Hub to take the morning stress out of registration on the day and allow you to sort your bike and turn up on the start line without waiting around for ages.

We want as many people to finish the event around the same time as possible to build the fun and friendly atmosphere that is Belles and Buns. The start times are different to ensure this. It also helps to improve marshalling and safety on the course over the whole day.

All Routes will Start in Larghan Park, Coupar Angus and will be set off in waves to ensure the safest possible start to the event.
